The THAT 1646 is a new generation of audio differential line driver with improved performance over conventional cross-coupled monolithic designs.
It exhibits low noise and distortion, high slew rate, stability under difficult loads, wide output swing, and have outputs which are short-circuit protected.
In addition it incorporates patented OutSmarts™ technology, a dual feedback-loop design that prevents the excessive ground currents typical of cross-coupled output stages when clipping into single-ended loads.
The THAT1646P08-U is a suitable replacement for the DRV134/SSM2142, while the THAT1646W16-U is a suitable replacement for the SSM2142/DRV134.
